What's the difference between a Freelancer Agreement and a SOW?

A Freelancer Agreement covers the entire relationship — IP ownership, payment terms, confidentiality, and legal recourse. A SOW (Statement of Work) defines the specific deliverables, timeline, and scope for a single project. You can use both together.

What if the client refuses to sign?

Do not begin work without a signed agreement. A client who refuses to sign a standard agreement is a red flag. You can share the preview link before paying — the agreement is generated immediately as a draft.

Do I need an NDA separately if I have a Freelancer Agreement?
